Grew out 4 seeds, and I kind of lot them get a tad too big, these girls do get big, but tied them down so they should be fine for flowering. But will post more on them once they're finished.

    Mine leaned heavily towards the sativa side. Very energetic, excellent as a wake and bake. I also smoke this whenever I go out for social events, because I am very withdrawn until I smoke this strain, then I’m talking to multiple people, holding an audience transfixed with my rapid torrent of words and new found courage absent of any anxiety. The indica side of this hybrid helps keep down the paranoia associated with sativa strains. Because of its sativa dominance, I had to go 12 weeks on this one, but it was worth it and the yield was about 4 ounces per plant.

    MIDNIGHT SNACK: Luckily, I bought before the seeds disappeared. This is a keeper for sure! This animal cookie blue dream cross is excellent!

    From just 3 seeds I got three very nice but different phenos. I also got my first seeds in 3 years ever growing with GP and I’m happy about it as I never found even one seed before. I now have a few seeds from very awesome strain that I cant currently purchase. Seeds likely to germinate and produce these similar awesome results.

    The more blue one in the pictures, I would just keep growing this if I could with every grow. REAKS of sugary blueberry candy!!!!

    And the colors. . . OMG I can’t stop looking at it or have words to properly describe them.

    Nothing special for nuts. Just some Stonington blend mix added to soil during veg, then slowly adding some dutch science cal-mag, and for bloom just had some Dr. Earth flower girl left over and not even a lot. Like enough for once a week for 2-4 weeks max.

    This cal-mag from dutch science, I think I can credit for some of my frostiest buds. Seems strains here really like it!

Aroma

Midnight Snack combines the fruity scent of Blue Dream with the sweet-and-sour aroma of Animal Cookies, creating a terpene-rich strain that is wonderfully fragrant. Midnight Snack smells of Blueberry and cherry, mixed with bitter notes of soil, skunk, and pine.

Flavor

Midnight Snack melds the lip-smacking flavors of Blue Dream and Animal Cookies. Midnight Snack tastes of blueberry and cookie dough, coupled with notes of soil, wood, wildflowers, gasoline, and skunk. Some phenotypes may taste more of Blueberry and herbs, and others may take on the sweet-and-sour flavor of Animal Cookies.

Effects

Midnight Snack offers a well-balanced effect that is more relaxing than Blue Dream but more uplifting than Animal Cookies. The high begins with a powerful cerebral effect that may elevate the mood and reduce stress. Soon, the high turns into a narcotic stone that may ease muscle tension and pain. When consumed in moderation, Midnight Snack is an excellent afternoon indulgence; however, when consumed in excess, this strain may send users into hibernation.

Structure

Midnight Snack is medium to tall in height, with long, lanky branches and thick, dark-green leaves. This cultivar forms medium- to large-size colas that are heavily coated in trichomes. The flowers are dense and frosty, and typically display hues of green, although some phenotypes may display shades of purple and blue when exposed to cold temperatures.

Growing Midnight Snack

Midnight Snack offers the vigor and resilience of Blue Dream and the incredible bag appeal of Animal Cookies. This variety is moderately easy to grow, and is resistant to most environmental stressors. Midnight Snack thrives both indoors and outdoors, in a temperate climate.

Most phenotypes stretch significantly during the flowering period. Growers can control the growth of the plants by using high-stress or low-stress training methods such as topping, fimming, and super cropping, during the vegetative growth period. This will limit the stretch and boost the yield of the plants.

Due to the weight of the massive buds, some phenotypes of Midnight Snack may require staking or trellising. This will prevent the branches from bending or breaking during the late flowering period.

Pest & Disease Control

Midnight Snack is unsusceptible to most pests and diseases, but some phenotypes may be prone to powdery mildew. Removing excess leaves, offering adequate ventilation, and reducing the humidity in the grow room will help to prevent powdery mildew infections. During the vegetative period, growers can also use foliar sprays such as water and sodium bicarbonate mixtures to help stop the spread of powdery mildew.

Although Blue Dream is highly resistant to bud rot, Animal Cookies is not. As a result, some Cookies-dominant phenotypes of Midnight Snack may be prone to bud rot, particularly if grown in a humid environment. Growers can prevent bud rot by thinning out the canopy, providing lots of airflow, and keeping the humidity level low during the flowering cycle.
