F2

F2 Cannabis Seeds

F1 seeds are popular among commercial growers because they tend to offer excellent hybrid vigor and uniformity. However, F2 seeds are the perfect choice for pheno hunters, as they typically provide a wide range of unique phenotypes.

F2 stands for “second filial generation.” This means that plants from the same F1 hybrid have been crossed together to create a second generation of offspring. Inbreeding the F1 plants opens the gene pool, making rare, recessive traits appear.

You’ll find plants that resemble the mother of the F1, some that resemble the father, and some that are a blend of the two. You may even come across phenos that are truly one of a kind. So, if you’re more concerned with discovering new phenotypes than producing a perfectly homogenous harvest, these seeds may be your best option.

At Greenpoint Seeds, we offer a variety of F2 hybrids. Shop our F2 seeds today.
