Animal Mints

Animal Mints: the parent behind the bigger names

Seed Junky Genetics‘ Animal Mints is recorded here as Animal Cookies × SinMint Cookies. JBeezy used an Animal Mints male with Triangle Kush to make Triangle Mints. A selection from that pairing became Wedding Cake. Follow the parents and you get to the work behind the famous name.

Kush Mints also comes through Animal Mints. That makes this a useful branch to recognize when comparing modern dessert pedigrees: different releases can lead back to the same breeding parent.

Keep the Animal naming argument in the right generation

Greenpoint’s position on the original Animal Cookies name is that it was Thin Mint GSC renamed, with Platinum Cookies in that trail. Animal Mints is a separate breeding step, with its own recorded Animal Cookies × SinMint pairing and Seed Junky credit. The old rename story gives you background; the actual parents tell you what changed.
