Durban Poison is the South African landrace out of the port city of Durban, and its American chapter starts with Ed Rosenthal carrying seeds home in the 1970s. He passed them to Mel Frank, whose A-line selection work refined the strain, and Frank passed it on to Sam the Skunkman, who spread it through Amsterdam.
It brings vigor, a fast finish for a sativa, and heavy trichome production, and it sits underneath the entire Cookies complex.

I am growing platinum inferno outside this year. It's at 8 feet tall in late bloom. It looks great and I love the structure.
Looks good and didn’t give me any issues growing. So far has a light pine smell. This could change during cure.
