Sativa
Sativa strains have been cultivated throughout history by farmers around the world. This type of cannabis is known for large yields. Given the long and diverse history of this cannabis subspecies, thousands of Sativa strains are available today.
Landrace Sativas are typically found in tropical and subtropical areas such as Colombia, Thailand, and Malawi. These plants tend to grow very tall in height, forming lanky branches, thin leaflets, and fluffy flowers. The size of the plants allows them to outgrow the thick canopy of the jungle, while the open bud structure offers resistance to bud rot and other fungal infections common in wet, warm environments.
As a result, these strains provide uplifting. Cultivars such as Durban Poison and Blue Dream are known for delivering euphoric. Given the powerful that these strains provide, they are very popular among recreational cannabis users.
Because this subspecies has adapted to regions with long growing seasons, the plants reach maturity slowly when compared to the Indica and Ruderalis varieties of cannabis. Sativa strains often take 14 weeks or longer to complete the flowering cycle, while some Indica and hybrid strains can reach maturity in as little as seven weeks. Fortunately, cannabis breeders have developed hybrid strains.
At Greenpoint Seeds, we offer a wide selection of Sativa-dominant hybrids. Shop our Sativa strains today.

All four seats germinated and grew absolutely amazingly. At least three different phenotypes out of four plants. Extremely potent. Four plants yield 13 and three-quarter ounces dry.

Nice plant covered with frosty cupcakes with a garlic pine-sol scent. Looking forward to smoking after cure.

Beautiful 3' plant with rock hard buds top to bottom with a serious cola atop. It took me to the temple. Crushing first hid transitions to calm focus. The terps burn the nostrils and the noids numb the mouth.
