Growers can provide these micronutrients to the plants by including a cal-mag supplement in the nutrient schedule or adding dolomite lime and Epsom salt to the growing medium. A pH meter should be used when mixing nutrient solutions. This ensures that the plants receive a steady pH and can absorb the ideal amount of nutrients.
