Animal Star Cookies Cannabis Seeds
Greenpoint Seeds used a select Stardawg male to pollinate the Cookies Family’s celebrated Animal Cookies cut. This hybrid, known as Animal Star Cookies, produces a range of phenotypes that provide the elite qualities of Cookies and Chem. Some plants may lean toward the skunky aroma of Stardawg, and others may offer the narcotic and supreme trichome production of Animal Cookies. Most phenotypes will present a blend of these prized traits.
Aroma
Animal Star Cookies melds the sweet-and-sour fragrance of Animal Cookies with the funky, earthy aroma of Stardawg. Some Cookies-dominant phenotypes may be sweeter, and some Stardawg-dominant plants may smell more of skunk and fuel. Most plants will offer a blend of these scents.
Flavor
Animal Star Cookies is rich in terpenes and flavonoids and offers a rich flavor that lingers in the mouth. This variety tastes of cookie dough and cherry, with bitter undertones of skunk, diesel, and soil. Depending on the phenotype, some plants may be sweeter, and others may be more earthy and skunky.
Structure
Animal Star Cookies is medium to tall in height, with thick stalks and broad fan leaves. This cultivar produces medium-size colas that have an ideal calyx-to-leaf ratio. The buds are dense and frosty and, depending on the phenotype, may display magnificent shades of violet when exposed to cold temperatures.
Growing Animal Star Cookies
Animal Star Cookies is much easier to grow than Animal Cookies but can still be somewhat finicky. This variety requires adequate nutrition, a stable environment, and abundant lighting to reach its full potential. Animal Star Cookies can be grown both indoors and outdoors when provided with a temperate climate.
Pest & Disease Control
Animal Star Cookies may be somewhat susceptible to powdery mildew infections. To prevent powdery mildew outbreaks, growers can keep the canopy thin by pruning the plants, use oscillating fans to increase air circulation, and keep the humidity level low in the grow room. They may also benefit from using foliar sprays such as water and apple cider vinegar mixtures to mitigate the spread of powdery mildew.
Both Animal Cookies and Stardawg require a plentiful source of calcium and magnesium. Animal Star Cookies also thrives when given a micronutrient-rich diet. To prevent calcium and magnesium deficiencies, growers can use a cal-mag supplement or enrich the soil with nutrients such as dolomite lime and crushed oyster shells.

I ran a pack of these in a 2.3×2.3 tent underneath 240w LM301B LED grow lights. I used fox farm happy frog soil in 1/2 gal plastic grow bags and the entire line of blue planet nutrients organic line + all of their supplements i.e. calmag, silica, b vitamins, seaweed and rhizo.
I’ve run straight up animal cookies from BC and let me tell you that animal star cookies does not disappoint. The animal cookies still really shines as far as structure, smell, bag appeal just about everything. Stardawg adds to the funk and helps with yield. A few different phenotypes but they all shined. This was some straight up fire and I highly recommend it!

This phenotype really purped out. Love the structure of the plant a whole lot of tops on her. My second time growing green point seeds is going great, the first time went horrible but that was on my fault. These guys have really good genetics can’t wait to run the other packs I have of them.
Fantastic and a heavy hitter! Popped 3 this round, 1 male 2 females. The females are two different phenos, But WOW. This one has small resinous buds that are so pungent and sticky! It’s purple but it sure doesn’t smell fruity or like grapes Haha. More like Chem sour or something. Not bad taste but I could see some not liking it. Can’t wait to get to sample the other pheno and pop some more beans! Thanks for providing amazing beans Gus!
Holy shit… this strain has become a regular in my gardens. A year off, and I’m ready for another round! Keep a mother handy, you WILL be taking clones.
