Two legendary plants from opposite ends of the timeline, one from before the Cookies era and one from the middle of it.
The Parents
Pre ’98 Bubba Kush is Matt Berger’s, and the date in the name marks it as the cut that predates the flood of Bubbas that followed. Berger sits at the center of two separate origin stories, since he also carried the Kush clone from Florida to California in 1996.
Our read of the original Animal Cookies name: Thin Mint GSC, renamed. The cut came from Jigga and the Cookies Family‘s Bay Area circle and also carried the Platinum Cookies tag. That is the Girl Scout Cookies history we back. A new name does not prove a new cross.
What’s In The Pack
Six feminized photoperiod seeds. Some plants lean toward the Bubba side, others toward the Cookies side.

Lucky enough to find a Bubba leaner… exactly what I was looking for. Dense nugs that smell a little bit earthy with a touch of chocolate.
The coffee crisp is on the right, 5 weeks old, lots of side branches, expect to see flowering soon, getting both indoor and outdoor lighting. To her left is a Lemon Tree Punch, a bit taller but not as bushy. I’ll post an update come harvest time!
Pretty cheap seeds for what you get
Started 7_4-22. Still a bit of training to do. Will update once flower has finished.
The coffee crisp is 9 weeks old, 37″ tall, and has been flowering for 2 weeks. The second picture has the Lemon Tree Punch on the left. It’s also 9 weeks, 42″ tall, and has been flowering for about a week. Both plants have low odor so far. The CC has “snowball” buds, reminds me of Aurora Indica. Another 7-8 weeks and I’ll be looking forward to the harvest!

Beautiful genetics first one I started is almost done
15 weeks old and flowering for 8, I harvested the top section on my coffee crisp female. It has a nice purple hew on the leaves and heavily crusted with trichomes. I’ll leave the lower branches to fully develop and harvest them in a week or two! Plant grew with zero issues. Looking forward to the smoke!
In flower now, I had some early herming probably my fault she was getting fed equal to other plants and probably wanted a little less. Once I plucked the sacks though the next couple weeks proved it to be the right move. This stuff stinks loud. Smells like a dragstrip. Oil, fuel, burnt rubber. Smells POTENT, can’t wait to chop her down.
