Matt “Bubba” Berger is the Florida kid standing under two dynasties. In the early nineties he brought Northern Lights seeds home to Gainesville from New Orleans, popped them, and named his keeper Bubba. Then his friend Alec Anderson handed him a cutting of something local heads just called Kush, seeds found in a bag of Krippy bought in south Florida.

In 1996 he took both plants west to Silverlake and set up with Josh D. The room was small, the Kush stretched, one stressed plant threw pollen, and it landed on Bubba. The accident is called Bubba Kush. Growers still say Pre ’98 to mark his original.

The crosses below descend from the plants Matt carried out of Florida.

I am growing platinum inferno outside this year. It's at 8 feet tall in late bloom. It looks great and I love the structure.

Looks good and didn’t give me any issues growing. So far has a light pine smell. This could change during cure.
