Apple Fritter spent years as one of the most requested and least available cuts in the dessert category, which is what happens when a plant photographs well and nobody will let the clone go. Greenpoint crossed it to a select Short Stuff #1 and took the line to F6, selecting on terpene expression every generation rather than on speed.

The Cross
Clone only cuts stay clone only for a reason. Whoever holds the plant that moves has no incentive to hand out seeds, and Apple Fritter was that plant for a good stretch.
Greenpoint went around it the long way. The cut got crossed to a select Short Stuff #1 autoflowering plant and the hybrid was inbred forward six generations, with the selection weight on terpene expression and resin rather than on how fast anything finished.
The Parents
Apple Fritter is Sour Apple crossed to Animal Cookies. The Sour Apple side brings the sharp fruit note, the Animal Cookies side brings the resin and the bakery weight underneath it. That combination is what earned the name and what made the clone worth holding.
Short Stuff #1 is the autoflower donor across the Greenpoint auto line, contributing the day neutral trigger and a compact frame.

70-80 days from seed. Genuinely short and compact, which makes it workable in a closet or a micro grow, and unusual for a plant carrying this much weight. Thick stems form large colas that can still need support in the last fortnight. Hardy indoors or out.

No plant was the same but still very good smoke. Average 2-3 oz each. 72 days from seed on the one pictured and 77 on the others. Organic with Gaia green and Gaia green power bloom in 5 gal grow bags.
This was first time with autoflowers and was a success. I think this requires extra nutrients during veg compared to other.
All seeds germinated!
A few smelled like the Apple Fritter I was expecting (warm baked apple pie), a few more like carmelized apples and one smelled like pinecone (I assume pheno most likely had more pinene in it).
I cut and let hang for a week, then put into jars, I removed gas with burp lids a few times daily for 2 weeks then through boost 2-way 62% humidity packets in mason jars. I continued to open jars and or use pump to extract gas daily for few more weeks.
The result: super smooth apple tasting flower I was looking for!
96 days seed to harvest in a 3 gal nursery pot of black gold topped with worm castings,bios nutrients, and marine cuisine. Super sweet low profile smell while growing, now dry and cured some, has a super strong sweet and ultra funk permeating from it. Borderline gross you can’t stop smelling.
Super easy plant to grow. Can go with a very basic feed as to mine didn’t want anything much besides midway through flower. Started to feed quite heavy. She’s bit of a stretcher. Probably 2.5x stretch. Smoke was a light spice. Sweet on the inhale and spice on the exhale. Highly recommend! 🤘
Love it easy to grow and smokes amazing
Currently growing 11 of them. 24 hours of continuous light under MH then HPS from seedling. Started sexing at about 28 days. The current pictures here are still at least a day away from first harvest. So these are still immature. Appears to have the timing of several harvests. Very heavy in the bud form. Plants will hang from weight. Zero stressing all natural grow. No signs of seeds whatsoever. I really like the bud to leaf ratio. These are at 74 days. Smells very sweet. Has the looks of a quality strain. To be continued….

Apple fritter was small but most beautiful dents color full crystalli buds. It had 2 main pheno types that I noticed mmmm
