Tangie is Crockett Family Farms‘ rebuild of a memory. California Orange crossed to Skunk #1, aimed squarely at the tangerine profile the old Cali Orange had and lost, and it landed hard enough to launch the entire citrus wave of the last decade.
Under the Forum Cut of Girl Scout Cookies it made Tropicana Cookies, which puts Tangie directly upstream of Tropicana Cherry.
