Although OG Kush and Chemdawg are similar in many respects, they are not identical. Combining the powers of the two lines, California Cannon offers the dense, frosty buds of the Tahoe OG and the superior vigor and yield of the Stardawg. California Cannon Cannabis
California Cannon is an F1 hybrid of Tahoe OG and Stardawg. The term “F1” means “first filial generation.” An F1 hybrid arises through the crossing of two distinct . Growers prize F1 hybrid seeds because they typically offer more stability than F2, or second-generation, and they tend to be more vigorous than varieties.
Because California Cannon is an F1 hybrid, most of its phenotypes will display a combination of traits from both parental lines. The genetic makeup is roughly 50 percent Tahoe OG, 25 percent Chem 4, 22 percent Chem D, and 3 percent Afghan. Growers find that some phenotypes tend to be more Tahoe-dominant, and some are more Chem-dominant. However, most phenotypes will produce of top-shelf flowers.

Aroma and Flavor
California Cannon is as pungent as its parents and leans heavily toward bleach, lemon-scented chemical cleaning products, petrol products, and industrial scents. This is definitely not for those who want a lighter, fruity-flavored . Some OG-dominant phenotypes will primarily display a bouquet of gasoline and lemon, and some Chem-dominant phenotypes will lean toward halitosis, pine, and skunk notes. All phenotypes offer aromas that will please the most discerning of connoisseurs.
Structure
The structure of California Cannon reflects the best traits of its ancestors. It combines the dense, frosty buds of Tahoe OG with the yield of Stardawg. Growers may find that Tahoe-dominant phenotypes tend to be taller, with more internodal spacing and broader leaflets. In contrast, Stardawg-dominant phenotypes tend to be shorter and branchier, with thinner leaflets. Both Tahoe-dominant and Stardawg-dominant phenotypes have robust branches and thick, dark green leaves.
Growing California Cannon
OG Kush phenotypes are infamously tricky to grow and are sensitive to changes in light, nutrients, and pH. Stardawg, in contrast, is an extremely beginner-friendly variety. By combining, California Cannon produces healthy, vigorous plants that are easy to grow while offering many of the prized traits of OG Kush.
California Cannon is a hearty and adaptable that grows well in many environments, both indoors and outdoors. Moreover, this variety will produce of top-shelf buds in both hydroponic and soil setups. Because California Cannon is an F1 hybrid, it thrives during the vegetative period, quickly branching out with robust stems and large, healthy leaves. Although this produces thick stems, its heavy colas may require support. Staking or trellising the plants early in flowering may boost the yield. Some OG-dominant phenotypes will stretch significantly in flowering, so topping or super cropping during the vegetative growth phase is advisable. training methods, including fimming, lollipopping, or scrogging.
Pest and Disease Control
California Cannon is resilient to mold and many types of pests, making it an attractive variety for outdoor growers. But the is susceptible to powdery mildew. Indoor growers can avoid powdery mildew infestations by keeping the humidity level low, raising the temperature to 75 degrees Fahrenheit, pruning excess leaves, and using fans to increase air circulation. Some foliar sprays such as water and sodium bicarbonate solutions may also help fight powdery mildew.
Some OG-dominant phenotypes may also be prone to bud rot due to the flowers’ extreme density and frost. Like powdery mildew, growers can stop bud rot by pruning the plants, reducing humidity, and using fans to increase air circulation.
Both OG Kush and Chemdawg love calcium and magnesium. Some Chem D-dominant phenotypes may display leaf variegation due to pH fluctuations or calcium and magnesium deficiencies. Incorporating a cal-mag supplement or Epsom salt and dolomite lime into the regular nutrient regime is advisable. Feeding with a stable pH is also essential.

hella dank cross from GPS! congrats on this one. TAHOE OG cuts are hard to come by. the good ones. The few i tried sucked. I bought a pack at auction and dropped all 12 seeds. 8 females and 5 males. 1 male i kept for a stud and the rest i got rid of. all 8 girls were great yielders.

My favorite. Thank God you made the choice to bring back the regs. No offense to anyone at Green Point, but it was really a stupid idea to get rid of the regs in the first place. Also right when I wanted to place an order for the first time in ages.. Same with the live chat. I already know who to thank for that (TANK). Tank told me he was trying to get a stamp of approval on the live chat button for years and not to worry about the regs being gone because they would be back soon. It makes sense. California Canon is one of my favorites actually. I have been growing a gassy pheno of them I acquired back in 2017 and they do great in large hydro projects. My husband and I had an ebb and flow that took up our entire garage we had custom built from Gary (Hydrofarm) and the California Canon would grow really wide and they were so sticky we’d have to go in during flowering and pull the plants apart from each other. They do great with regular Hydrofarm 3 part and that’s all they need. We switched from HPS to some COB LEDs we acquired from eBay and we’ve been getting an additional 15% in weight on every run we make with this gassy pheno of Cali Canon. If you find a really gassy pheno, keep it. It is easy to grow and bugs hate it. I don’t know why, they just stay clear of this pheno. This pheno also doesn’t mind high humidity. When you live in FL, it’s hard to keep the humidity levels low in a garage with aluminum panels and this Cali Canon pheno just doesn’t mind it at all. Imagine that? Now that the regs are back I can finally plan on making an order this winter. Thank you everyone at Green Point Seeds. Hope you all start coming to the conventions again. OMG this is an amazing strain! Grew 3, all were females and got over 4 lbs of dried product off of the 3 plants. Very dense bud structure and the stalks are thick and strong and can hold the weight without breaking. The product is very strong and relieves pain the best of any I have found. My DIL also says it helps calm her IBS symptoms really well too. This is just 1 little bud off of 1 of the plants
Had one that’s one of the best out of 40, pine cone’y in looks, very deep/complex in the profile, her main thing is a straight butane scent, very pronounced at first when crumbling a nug, very high, even more stony, delicious, great seeds and even greater customer support!
Did really well outdoors in the VT cold. Very hearty and strong nice lemon gas flavor. Got huge planting them in the old pig pasture seems to thrive in high nitrogen soil. All seeds sprouted as usual with greenpoint seeds a++++
