about 1 week from chop time. It has some beautiful purple bud, and smells just as great with notes of citrus and skunk.
OK….. lemme get this squared away right up front…. THE PICTURE USED FOR EXAMPLE IS NOT PURPLE BANANA COOKIES! I went to the growers Instagram link and there was the photo GP used for stock but the grower made the comment “That’s why they call it Black Bananas”…..
With that being said let’s talk about the actual PBC’s strain GP sells…..
The flavors outta this herb are excellent, Citrus, Pine, Diesel, Earthy tones and something else in there that I can’t put My finger on. With LST, topping, and pre flower trimming She gave Me a little over 2¼ lbs of sticky buds that everyone who’s smoked has named as their new favorite…
like a few previous reviews mention, this strain seems to have some crazy mutants.. of my 6 seeds i’m 0-4 so far. There were no problems during germination, but once planted the issues start.. I’m taking a break from this strain and will try it again at some point because it does look amazing.. My ice cream punch on the other hand is doing amazing so far!
love love love this strain, I pulled clones before I put into flower to keep the genetic, super easy to grow. week 4 of 10 in flower, smells like grape and skunk
Awesome strain. Sprouted 1 seed sometime in June indoors, then grew outside in a white fabric pot. Fertilized with organic general fertilizer, then with flower girl fertilizer during flowering.
I grew this outside in southern arizona, extremely hot and dry climate. Summer temps are around 115 degrees, even on harvest day (October) afternoon temps were over 100 degrees. It didn’t like the summer sun though and got some sun damage, so I had to put it on my shaded porch until September. However in September I did put it back out in my yard and under 60% shade fabric in the afternoons in the last month to help the buds get a cooler temp. I suspect it would do just fine anywhere other than super hot desert sun.
I got around 5 ounces of great buds once harvested and cured. One of my favorite strains I’ve grown from HPS, another highly recommended strain!

This was my first time purchasing seeds from Greenpoint Seeds. Every seed popped and grew great to harvest. I could not be happier with the growth of the plants during veg. I was shocked how my plants took off during flowering. Very large buds that looked like sugar was dumped on them. The euphoria from smoking Purple Banana Cookies is outstanding. The genetics are some of if not the best I have seen in my 10 plus years of growing cannabis. Being in a non legal state I definitely want the most potent genetics I can get my hands on and the biggest yielding plants. I’m glad I stumbled across Greenpoint seeds online. There is no need to look anywhere else for your seeds.

i purchased these beans almost 2 years ago and added them to my seed collection…just gettin around to giving this strain a run..just popped the one seed…is really frosty and sticky and sweet, fruity, scent so far…is about 5 weeks from 1st pistils…i have 3 other strains in this small setup too…
