Supernova Gardens

Supernova Gardens is a group of cannabis breeders originally from Hawaii. Although these breeders are known to be very elusive, they have earned a stellar reputation among growers worldwide for their famous Purple Punch strain—a powerful cross of Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple.

In 2012, the Supernova team traveled to Washington, where they came across a male Granddaddy Purple plant from breeder Ken Estes. They crossed the GDP to a female Larry OG found in a pack of seeds from The Cali Connection, thus creating the famous Purple Punch strain.

Since its inception in 2012, this strain has become a sensation within the cannabis community, winning several awards and becoming a staple among Indica lovers. It has often been described as “the next Blue Dream,” given its ease of growth, hefty yield, and overwhelming popularity.

The team at Supernova Gardens continues to grow and breed cannabis, and has recently opened two cannabis dispensaries in Hawaii. Given their passion and dedication to cannabis cultivation, more hits like Purple Punch are sure to come.
