Born-on Date: June 2023
Purple Punch X Stardawg
Royal Chem combines the powerful qualities of parents Purple Punch and Stardawg—two cannabis strains known for their pungent aromas and powerful effects. Royal Chem is a potent cultivar in both flavor and cannabinoid content, combining the sweet flavors of sour grape and earthy diesel fuel. As such, this strain is ideal for both experienced recreational consumers and medical patients who require effective relief from a variety of conditions.
Royal Chem Cannabis Seeds
The breeders at Greenpoint Seeds created Royal Chem by using their trusty Stardawg male to pollinate the clone-only cut of Purple Punch. This hybrid displays many of the superb qualities of both parental lines. Some plants may provide the sweet, fruity flavor and knockout high of Purple Punch, and others may offer the pungent, skunky aroma and invigorating effects of Stardawg. Most phenotypes will offer a blend of these traits.
Aroma
Royal Chem is loaded with terpenes, combining the aromas of Purple Punch and Stardawg to create a complex bouquet that is sweet and funky. This variety smells of grape soda, berries, and lemon, with sharp undertones of skunk, soil, and gasoline.
Flavor
Royal Chem coats the mouth with a complex flavor that is both sweet and savory. This variety tastes of grape and berry, with notes of chemical cleaning solution, soil, skunk, and herbs. Depending on the phenotype, this hybrid may taste sweet and fruity or sour and skunky.
Effects
Royal Chem is a hybrid strain that combines the relaxing and body-numbing stone of Purple Punch with the energizing high of Stardawg. This potent cultivar offers a well-balanced high that is both soothing and uplifting. It makes for an excellent afternoon or evening smoke.
Structure
Like both of its parents, Royal Chem is of medium height, with thick branches, broad, dark-green leaves, and tight internodal spacing. This strain forms fat, hulking colas that are profoundly dense and frosty. Purple Punch-dominant phenotypes may be more colorful, and Stardawg-leaning plants may be taller with thinner leaflets.
Growing Royal Chem
Royal Chem is an excellent strain for intermediate to experienced growers. Though this variety requires additional support and a comprehensive nutritional regimen, it will reward growers with an abundance of large colas and sticky, flavorful trichomes. The strain grows well in many environments but tends to perform best indoors.
Pest & Disease Control
Although Royal Chem is resistant to most pests, it may be somewhat susceptible to caterpillars. Growers can avoid caterpillar infestations by using beneficial insects, barrier fabrics, and foliar sprays such as neem oil or pyrethrum. Additionally, growers should always keep the grow room clean, maintain ideal temperature and humidity levels, and provide plenty of lighting and airflow. These practices will help to prevent most pests and diseases from harming the plants.

SOME ROPE. First grow of this cultivar under LM301H 480W LED panels using Meanwell drivers. BPN Farmers Pride high yield system. 10.5 weeks in flower. Smells like pungent gas & cake batter. Sticky AF. Looking forward to growing this again.

5/10 females. Massive massive plants stacked just like the purple punch, just up the frost and funk and yield from the stardawg. Some were orange/piney to purple punch light Berry some silent and 1 very Chem funk thru and thru. Heavy yields mold resistant did perfect in northern maine even being hit with a freeze more than a few times. Highly recommend.

Scents of purple Gatorade and Chem. Nice solid yields and strong growth. If you like purple punch then this is only improving on it.

I only received seven seeds. But adding this review will save me $ next order. Royal Chem seedlings start slow and need dehusked to start growing ; if not they will all die. These aren’t easy to grow. Hope you have tweezers 🤷♂️

– Smells more gassy with sweet undertones
Germinated 4. 3 popped , 3 females. The #1 pheno is a heavy feeder if you get it.

This strain is the shit!!!! When I say this looks like something out of the “HighTimes” magazine. Thick dense buds that are triked out, even under the second trellis. I can’t wait for it to dry and cure.
