Okay, so this is cannabis royalty right here. Temple Chem is pre-Cookies, pre-OG Kush. It came right after the Dutch explosion of genetics in the late ’80s. This is primordial cannabis royalty—Chem 91 is a pillar of the cannabis genetic lineage. It’s what Skunk evolved into, and it was the best of the best for its time. Now that the Cookies hype is over, the legendary genetics are starting to shine again, and it doesn’t get more legendary than Chemdog. It’s so refreshing smoking some Chem; it has an old-school Skunk flavor—astringent, tangy, and slightly repulsive in the best way. Grease is the concept I want you to think of here. The resin glands lack that waxy “whiteness,” but they make up for it in cannabinoid and terpene content, making the buds feel greasy rather than sandy. A baggie won’t hold back the smell, and a bamboo stake won’t keep these branches from flopping.
