California Cannon
$46.00
Tahoe OG crossed to Stardawg, straight F1. Roughly half Tahoe OG against Chem 4 and Chem D, which means OG Kush and Chemdog in one pack, the two families most of American cannabis descends from. There is no fruit anywhere in this. If you collect for gas rather than candy, it is one of the loudest crosses in the catalog.
Tahoe OG x Stardawg | Regular photoperiod | 10 seeds | 70-80 days | Born-on: Jul 2025
The Cross
California Cannon is an F1, the first filial generation off two distinct parents, which is where hybrid vigor sits highest and expression stays most predictable. The split runs roughly 50% Tahoe OG, 25% Chem 4, 22% Chem D and a trace of Afghani.
The Parents
Tahoe OG is one of the great OG Kush selections, held out of the Lake Tahoe scene and traded through California for density and frost long before anyone was branding cuts.
Stardawg is Chem 4 crossed to Tres Dawg, bred by JJ NYC at Top Dawg Seeds. Where Tahoe brings density, Stardawg brings vigor, yield and structure, which are the two things OG cuts have always been weakest at. That is the entire argument for the pairing, and it is the same argument Greenpoint has been making with this male since 2014.
What’s In The Pack
Ten regular photoperiod seeds, males included. Tahoe dominant plants run one direction on the nose and Chem dominant plants run the other, with most of the pack landing between them. Rooted clones of the #77 selection are offered separately when available.
In The Garden
70-80 days. Straightforward to run for a plant with this much OG in it, because the Stardawg side carries the vigor. Growers consistently report it as one of the easier crosses in the older catalog. Give it a proper flush and a slow dry.

One of the best crosses I’ve had luck with. Got 3 phenos, one was exceptionally OG with a little bit of funky citrus. That one wasn’t stretchy tho. Had a little bit of stretch but it bushed out more. The 3rd pheno has a stardawg structure, with fox tails and huge fan leaves. Keeping the 1st OG pheno I found around as it’s the best tasting terps I’ve found in your gear. Gonna try and look for another unicorn out of it and maybe make an F2 version with the keepers. You really need to bring this back. Tahoe was a killer choice for a project. The shoreline in the Texas chem is great too.

Due to current room situation farmed it to a friend that has essentially abused the poor plant. Despite poor nutrition, inconsistent watering and a bit of breakthrough sunlight from a window it's looking like a champ.

This strain is excellent! The structure of the plant is like nothing I've seen before...super strong branches, very pine tree like and so is the olfactory aspect. The pinene comes through in the taste as well, which is something I really enjoy about this strain. It's rare that I come across buds like this. Great yielder as well.. Would definitely grow again!

Really showed it Og. Didn’t get that big. But nice round hard nugs

I really enjoy sherbet crosses and this one didn't disappoint

hella dank cross from GPS! congrats on this one. TAHOE OG cuts are hard to come by. the good ones. The few i tried sucked. I bought a pack at auction and dropped all 12 seeds. 8 females and 5 males. 1 male i kept for a stud and the rest i got rid of. all 8 girls were great yielders.
Greenpoint Seeds is the best seed bank in the USA! Great customer support and seeds!
The chem is strong with this one.
We only grew the Californian Cannon and all of the seeds germinated, one was mutated and she still ended up pulling through well and our pictures tell the rest of the story. Thank you for your genetics 🧬
My favorite. Thank God you made the choice to bring back the regs. No offense to anyone at Green Point, but it was really a stupid idea to get rid of the regs in the first place. Also right when I wanted to place an order for the first time in ages.. Same with the live chat. I already know who to thank for that (TANK). Tank told me he was trying to get a stamp of approval on the live chat button for years and not to worry about the regs being gone because they would be back soon. It makes sense. California Canon is one of my favorites actually. I have been growing a gassy pheno of them I acquired back in 2017 and they do great in large hydro projects. My husband and I had an ebb and flow that took up our entire garage we had custom built from Gary (Hydrofarm) and the California Canon would grow really wide and they were so sticky we’d have to go in during flowering and pull the plants apart from each other. They do great with regular Hydrofarm 3 part and that’s all they need. We switched from HPS to some COB LEDs we acquired from eBay and we’ve been getting an additional 15% in weight on every run we make with this gassy pheno of Cali Canon. If you find a really gassy pheno, keep it. It is easy to grow and bugs hate it. I don’t know why, they just stay clear of this pheno. This pheno also doesn’t mind high humidity. When you live in FL, it’s hard to keep the humidity levels low in a garage with aluminum panels and this Cali Canon pheno just doesn’t mind it at all. Imagine that? Now that the regs are back I can finally plan on making an order this winter. Thank you everyone at Green Point Seeds. Hope you all start coming to the conventions again. I saw you once many years ago and you have a picture of me that used to be on that beautiful picture carousel on the first page. Yeah, that was me 😊
OMG this is an amazing strain! Grew 3, all were females and got over 4 lbs of dried product off of the 3 plants. Very dense bud structure and the stalks are thick and strong and can hold the weight without breaking. The product is very strong and relieves pain the best of any I have found. My DIL also says it helps calm her IBS symptoms really well too. This is just 1 little bud off of 1 of the plants
Had one that’s one of the best out of 40, pine cone’y in looks, very deep/complex in the profile, her main thing is a straight butane scent, very pronounced at first when crumbling a nug, very high, even more stony, delicious, great seeds and even greater customer support!
Did really well outdoors in the VT cold. Very hearty and strong nice lemon gas flavor. Got huge planting them in the old pig pasture seems to thrive in high nitrogen soil. All seeds sprouted as usual with greenpoint seeds a++++
Easy to grow, small and bushy plants producing beautiful buds with a mildly full center cola
Day 44 of poking through the soil from germination. Running 18/6 with Viparspectra xs4000 LED in 4×4. These things are bushy as heck. I’m so looking forward to this flower.
Stong smell. Nice buds and amazing look
