The Insider Lowdown

We are doubling down on the Wedding Cake and Gelato lineage here. Ice Cream Cake (Seed Junky Genetics) is already a resin monster. Crossing it back into the Animal Cookies (itself a GSC x Fire OG hybrid) creates a poly-hybrid singularity of gas, cream, and vanilla dough. This is “couch-lock” redefined. Expect monochromatic purple/black flowers that reek of vanilla gasoline and finish fast.

Deep Dive: The Resin Factory

Ice Cream Cake (ICC) is arguably the most successful commercial strain of the last five years. Bred by Seed Junky Genetics, it defined the modern “Exotic” look: dark purple/black leaves, stark white contrast trichomes, and a creamy, vanilla-gas nose. It is pure Indica dominance in its most modern form.

The Breeding Logic

This is essentially a GSC backcross cubed. We are saturating the gene pool with the specific “Durban x OG” traits that made Cookies brand famous. The Animal Cookies father reinforces the potency and the gas profile, ensuring that the “creaminess” of the ICC doesn’t become too subtle.

Phenotype Hunting Guide

Watch for the “Vanilla Gasoline” pheno. These plants will be short, stout, and demand heavy magnesium during the stretch.

• Uniformity: Unlike the Piff cross, this should be highly uniform. Most plants will look similar: short, bushy, broad leaves (Indica dominant).
• Potency: This is the highest THC potential in the collection. ICC and Animal Cookies both test consistently high (25%+). Expect this to be a “one-hitter quitter.”
• Terpenes: It will be Monochromatic. Vanilla, Dough, Cream, Gas. Do not expect fruit. This is a savory/dessert strain.

Grower Warning: This strain will be prone to botrytis (bud rot) because the buds will be incredibly dense and leaf-heavy. You must defoliate heavily in weeks 1, 3, and 5 of flower to ensure airflow. Keep humidity low.
