Introducing Lemon Hydra
Lemon Hydra is a vibrant new cross that brings together two compelling genetics: Chimera #3 and Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato. Chimera #3, from the Beleaf camp, descends from the intriguing union of White Truffle and The Creature. Meanwhile, Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato delivers its signature candy-like citrus punch, enhancing this strain’s bright and uplifting quality.
Like the mythical Hydra, the black market and small-scale breeders continue to shape the most unique and groundbreaking genetics in today’s cannabis scene, far outpacing many traditional legal-market offerings. Whenever an attempt is made to stifle progress, a new “head” of innovation seems to emerge. Lemon Hydra embodies that unrestrained search for the “full package,” drawing from an impressive lineup that includes Chemdog, OG Kush, top-tier Cookies cuts, and even a sprinkling of haze. The potency is off the charts—some have even described the effects as being “like acid.”
Lemon Hydra Lineage & Breeders
- Parent 1: Chimera #3 (White Truffle x The Creature)
Chimera #3 begins with White Truffle and The Creature, both known for their pungent aromas, high resin production, and bold effects. Through careful selection and refinement, Beleaf developed a distinctive pheno that balances earthy notes and sweet undertones, culminating in pronounced potency. - Parent 2: Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato
This cultivar weaves bright lemon-lime zest with subtle cherry sweetness. Influences from classic strains like Super Lemon Haze, Girl Scout Cookies, and Sunset Sherbet lend it a well-rounded bag appeal and an invigorating, uplifting quality. Here, it pairs perfectly with Chimera #3’s deeper profile.
Lemon Hydra Flavor & Aroma
Lemon Hydra starts off with an invigorating pop of lemon and lime, reminiscent of freshly opened citrus candy. Underneath that tanginess, you might detect faint fruit or creamy vanilla notes, supported by a mellow earthy finish. The overall bouquet is tangy, tropical, and undeniably comforting.
Growth Characteristics
Thanks to its parents, Lemon Hydra likely exhibits robust vigor, branching strength, and dense, frosty buds. White Truffle and The Creature both tend to produce sticky flowers, while Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato streamlines the flowering period to around 8–10 weeks. Expect medium-to-tall plants that adapt well to various cultivation methods, offering ample yields of aromatic colas.
In Summary
Lemon Hydra unites two remarkable breeding projects—Chimera #3’s complex intensity and Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato’s bright, candy-like essence—into one cohesive hybrid. From tangy lemon-lime notes to hints of cookie sweetness and haze-inspired intrigue, this strain delivers a multifaceted experience. Whether you’re searching for a lineage-driven collector’s item or a bold new addition to your garden, Lemon Hydra promises to bring depth, flavor, and potent results to the table.

What can i say besides fantastic! This lady Lemon Hydra has been fantastically easy, fragrant, and sticky. She handled being topped on the same day i switched light cycle to flower 12/12 without any signs of stress. No hermie, no nanners, no slowing down on her way to today at day 70 in flower. Probably has 15/20 days left before taking her? She is definitely staying in my collection as long as Gu keeps her in the lineup!
