Zkittlez came out of the sacred gardens in Mendocino through Tony Mendo and Green R. Fieldz of the Terp Hogz with Brandon Parker of 3rd Gen Family Farms, whose people have worked that land for generations. It also grows like a vine on weak stems. The Trop Cherry stud is the crutch that fixes it.
Zkittlez x Tropicana Cherry | Feminized photoperiod | 6 seeds | 62-70 days | Harvested: Dec 2025
The Cross
Red Bottoms exists to fix the Z. Everything good about Zkittlez is in the jar and everything difficult about it is in the room. Viney, weak stemmed, and it does not produce.
Crossing it to the Trop Cherry stud addresses that. The composition is a straight F1, 50% Zkittlez with the other half split between Tropicana Cookies and Cherry Cookies F3 through the father.
The Parents
Zkittlez came out of Mendocino County through the Terp Hogz, Tony Mendo and Green R. Fieldz, working with Brandon Parker of 3rd Gen Family Farms. The origin was closer to controlled chaos than a breeding plan. Green R. Fieldz acquired a clone mislabeled as Cookies, and when it flowered it was obviously something else and obviously better. Tony Mendo hit it with a Grapefruit phenotype.
The garden those selections came out of had fed a family for generations, and the 3rd Gen crew went on to found the Ego Clash invitational, where outdoor growers compete with their best work. Zkittlez was the cornerstone of that whole movement. It took first place for Best Indica Flower at the 2015 Michigan Cup and dominated the 2016 Emerald Cup.
Trop Cherry is Relentless Genetics‘ Tropicana Cookies crossed to Cherry Cookies F3, and one of the few plants that adds structure without costing you anything on top.
What’s In The Pack
Six feminized photoperiod seeds. Because the structural improvement comes from the father, most of the pack holds up better than the Zkittlez mother does on her own.
In The Garden
62-70 days. Moderate difficulty, medium to high yield and commercially viable, which is a sentence nobody could write about straight Zkittlez. Cookies line feeding applies.

Red Bottoms were a treat to grow, firm nugs that were covered with frosty goodness. Experienced no issues with nutes, just straight forward grow. Spotted 1st amber at F60, harvested F67.
