Pisces Genetics

Pisces Genetics is a cannabis breeder with a passion for preserving classic cannabis strains. Founded by Jimmy Nitz, this seed company works with some of the most iconic American cultivars, such as OG Kush, Chemdawg, and Trainwreck. In his many years of breeding, Nitz has played an important role in bringing these old-school strains to the masses.

Pisces Genetics is best known for creating the famous Motorbreath strain. Nitz created this hybrid by crossing SFV OG with a cut of Chem D given to him directly by Greg “Chemdog” Krzanowski. The award-winning phenotype—Motorbeath #15—is known for producing big, frosty, potent buds that absolutely reek of skunk and gasoline.

Nitz continues to breed a variety of potent cannabis seeds and has even worked with landrace strains such as Colombian Gold to create unique hybrids. His passion for old-school cultivars is a refreshing departure from the sea of modern strains in today’s cannabis industry.
