There isn’t one. An S1 comes from reversing a female and using her own pollen on herself, so the seeds carry only that plant. This is the closest anybody outside the circle has gotten to the cut.

The Parents

Sunset Sherbet is Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mint cut, crossed to Pink Panties. The male was not something found in a bag. It was a specific selection Jigga handed to Sherbinski, and it came out of a garage in the Sunset District.

Its significance is hard to overstate. For fifteen years before it, the high end North American market was a monoculture of OG Kush phenotypes. Tahoe, SFV, Larry, Ghost. If your bag did not read as OG it was not top shelf, and the whole gene pool had bottlenecked around one profile. Sherbet, arriving around 2011 and 2012, is where that broke, and every dessert plant on every shelf in the country descends from that moment.

The Burmese Kush sitting in the Pink Panties side is the sleeper in the pedigree. It is distinct from the Afghan and Pakistani indicas that dominate the market and it brings a slow vegging, stout growth habit.

What’s In The Pack

Six feminized photoperiod seeds. Variation is narrow, but recessives surface. The slow vegging stout plants are the Pink Panties dominant expressions and they are generally the best phenotypes in a Sherbet S1 population.

In The Garden

62-70 days. Better resistance to mold and environmental stress than the pure Thin Mint line, inherited through the Pink Panties side. Moderate stretch that helps open up the squat Pink Panties structure.
