The Parents
Pre ’98 Bubba Kush is Matt Berger’s, and the name marks it as the cut that predates the flood of Bubbas that came after. Berger carried it out of Florida in the mid nineties along with the Kush clone that became OG Kush, which puts him at the center of two separate origin stories.
Purple Punch is Larry OG crossed to Granddaddy Purple, running back to Purple Urkle.

In The Garden
56-63 days. Hardy enough that anybody can run it. Given light and decent nutrition it produces a sizeable yield of dense flowers.

If u love old school purps this is where it’s at bubba structure,earthy, fruity tones come with stem rub and the flower is almost edible
Super easy to grow! Finishes within the 56-63 days. I ran mine to 66 days for preference. Could have pulled her sooner. Plant can produce some beautiful dense colored buds. Also covered in trichomes! Smell is kush and fruit and flavor is top notch! Almost like a fruit punch! If you like sweet and fruity with a bit of kush. This one’s for you!!!Can’t go wrong with these beans or anything from gps!
Beautiful plant. Very easy and forgiving to grow. Wish I would have trimmed the lowers a little better, I was experimenting to see the difference there. Overall great bud structure and tight compact growth. Very nice looking picturesque buds!

Purple bubba Kush is one of the best strains I’ve ever grown and I’ve grown MANY Strains this one I’ll keep in my garden for a few years if not permanently easy to grow but cloning it was a bit tricky but overall I was very impressed.
So far excellent cultivar. Looks and smells great. Really quick flowering also. Topped, LST and SCROG. Another week or so. Can’t wait.
