The Cross
A modern commercial standard against a heritage line. Most crosses in this category pair two current plants and produce a third current plant. This one reaches back.
The Parents
Ice Cream Cake is Wedding Cake crossed to Gelato #33, from JBeezy at Seed Junky Genetics, and the plant that set what modern exotic flower is supposed to look like on a shelf.
Blueberry Sugar is Grape Cream Cake crossed to Blueberry Frosting. Grape Cream Cake is Cannarado‘s work. Blueberry Frosting carries DJ Short‘s Blueberry, selected out of Highland Thai and Afghani material in the seventies and held together by one man for thirty years while the rest of the market moved on.
