Cannarado Genetics is an esteemed cannabis seed breeder based in Colorado. With more than 20 years of experience in the cannabis scene, Cannarado has earned a reputation for breeding some of the most sought-after varieties on the market, including Grape Pie and Sundae Driver.

Cannarado, the breeder, made a reputation by making a large amount of feminized seeds at a time. When he started, most American breeders were not producing as many feminized seeds as Cannarado. Seed volume was a characteristic of the European fem seed breeders. Here’s a quote from an interview with top Times Magazine:

Hightimes: What’s your focus on more? Feminized or regulars?

Cannarado: I kind of focus on the fem thing since it’s a niche. Not as many people were doing it when I really first started doing it under the Cannarado company. I think I dropped my stuff on The Canna Collective with DJ back in the day. It wasn’t that long ago, but like I said, you just see all these people kind of coming out with these seed companies. I have been doing this so long, why not just package some of it up and kind of jump into the industry?

He started early.Cannarado made his first cross in 1998 and has gone on to create an array of feminized and regular hybrids, backcrosses, selfed seeds, and much more. With his extensive collection of elite, clone-only varieties, he was able to produce top-quality cannabis seeds that were focused on flavor for the concentrate market.
