The Cross
Velvet Dip pairs two modern pillars with traceable ancestry, and the interesting part is how much of that ancestry overlaps. Follow both sides back and the same names keep turning up. That makes it line breeding rather than a wide outcross, which is why the traits stack instead of averaging out.

Girl Scout Cookies, Forum cut, is the clone only selection that circulated through ICMag in the early 2010s. Its pedigree is commonly given as OG Kush crossed to F1 Durban, a Cookie Fam selection tied to Durban Poison.
Dip N Stix is Beleaf’s Sugarcane cut out of In House Genetics. Sugarcane is Platinum crossed to Slurricane, and Slurricane is Do-Si-Dos crossed to Purple Punch. Do-Si-Dos brings Archive’s OGKB and a Face Off OG backcross. Purple Punch brings Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple.
