Snake Oil is a raunchy flavor bomb that gets its intense palate and overwhelming power from a list of old-school heavy hitters. In the 1990s the multi-cup winning SENSI STAR made a name for itself being one of the most narcotic strains available. Bio-Diesel, the mother used in the Snake Oil, is a cross of Sensi Star and infamous Sour Diesel. Kick back, relax and get ready for some potent elixir.

“Bio-Diesel garnered attention initially by winning the 2009 Harvest Cup in Colorado. The strain was developed and is still held by Denver Relief. They are notoriously protective of their coveted strain. One of those patients was a friend of mine, Koots, who went through Bio-Diesel by the ounce in 2009 and 2010. In one of his batches of Bio-Diesel, Koots pulled out about 20 mature seeds. He is a grower, and had been trying to procure a cut from the shop once he realized the medical potency of the Bio. Denver Relief was not selling, donating, or gifting cuttings to anyone. Koots said even their employee’s told him they weren’t allowed cuttings. Koots began going through these seeds immediately and began selecting for a cut that most resembled his beloved Bio from the shop. His selection is impressive, and really outshines the majority of diesel samples I’ve had over the past several years. I find it to be even better than the original sold at the store…”
Check out TNT, another great diesel strain!

Great strain, this pheno kicked ass. Kind of a throwback mix of raunchy skunk, rubber and overpowering fuel Terps. I liked the Diesel leaning cpl I had added structure, funk and tricks. Recommend for any one into diesel, hash funk…slight orange zest on exhale. All phenos were good, 2 standouts among 7 females.
Still playing around with the pheno’s, i ordered 2 packages and planted 3 seeds. This has a really cool self-canopy trait when you top it. I’m hoping to get some males to cross with some feminized sensi star seeds i have the next time i do a run of these. Great stuff Gu.
She’s just about done. Chopping her this weekend. Absolutely breathtaking buds. Fat, rock hard, frosty and plentiful! Great yielder, wonderful terpene profile. Highly recommended. Here’s a new pic of the glorious colas the snake oil produces.
Finished up, very strong and tasty even though not fully cured!
Popped 6 seeds, 5 turned males really nice looking studs but had to go. The one female was slow and kinda ugly sickly duckling . Then she being only female I kept and she blossomed and more the doubled in size. Had to bend since I didn’t build trellis. Overall she is worth growing and expecting decent yield. Still got 4 seed left hoping for another girl! Reminds me of old school diesel with hints of citrus.
Popped half the pack and got two girls. Haven’t done anything with the runty one yet but the other pheno is a beautiful example of all the best things about chem and diesel. She’s at about 5 weeks now and smells amazingly of janitor’s closet and citrus cleaner, and I’m starting to notice a bit more diesel smell develop later in flowering. Awesome yielder. Fat colas. Definitely got all the best of the chem and diesel line in this pheno. I already put a clone outside that looks really happy.
I have grown snake oil twice now. Popped 5 seeds in 2019, 3 out of 5 were female. Plants grew okay, only found one desirable phenotype out of the bunch. Put the pack away for later use. Decided to finish them out this year. The second grow went much better. 5 out of 6 plants were female and I yielded 23oz off those 5 plants in a 4×4 with ~500w of QB LED lighting. Three of the phenotypes were awesome and I’m getting ~25% return on pressing rosin. I didn’t keep any mothers or clones so hopefully we see these in stock again at GPS. I used to shop medical at Denver Relief and Bio-Diesel was one of my favorite strains back in the day so I knew I had to give this a shot. No pictures worth sharing unfortunately.
Popped 5/5… 3 males, 2 female. Growth was uniform and plants took topping well. Fairly indica dominate. Top colas were about large lemon size and dried to large egg size. Tricome production was normal with large stalks and heads. Plants are VERY aromatic during grow and cure. If you want to stay stealthy you’ll need an air filter. Did not weigh final product, but it did fill 3 quart jars. Vegged for 6 weeks/flowered for 8. Genetics appear well stablized with uniform plants and plentiful yeild. 2 bong hits raise a smile, 4 puts me on the couch.
excellent fat buds!! strong and smooth flavor!! laidback cool buzz!!
The bio-diesel really shines through the stardawg….very narcotic
