The Cross
This is not a typical purple plant and it does not share the usual problems of one. Purple lines are known for low yields and a generic grape character. This one is sweet and candied with more complexity than that, and it produces.
The Parents
Bodhi Seeds personally selected the female used here from over a hundred seeds of Goji OG, his own flagship variety. He picked this second generation plant for her purple coloring and the foxtailing calyxes that come in permanently coated in resin. Goji OG itself is Nepali OG crossed to Snow Lotus.
The Stardawg male does well with purple varieties. It tends to enhance both the color and the aroma, which is usually what those lines are missing. The Goji F2 was not missing aroma and it still improved on it.

I began flowering this plant when it reached 20 to 24″. It branched out and made about 15 tops, and basically doubled in size. The plant stretched and the internodes were longer that i would like, which could be improved on the growers’ part. The leaves were narrow enough that light could get through with some very light defoliation, and i rotate my plants every few days so they get different light exposure from day to day. The top of the plant yielded around 5 oz, which could be pushed if you give the plant some special attention. The tops were all pointed, no round buds.
The taste and effect make me want to keep this. When drying the first week it starts to smell like Italian cooking, seriously, reminiscent of oregano. Then I cured slowly for a couple weeks, open jars, close jars, repeat. A month later, it is very smooth and pleasant. There is a spicy tingle on exhale. The effect if up, and high; the sativa is evident, but also balanced.
