Rare Dankness
Established in 2010, Rare Dankness is a Colorado-based seed company that has built a strong reputation within the cannabis industry. Scott “Moonshine” Reach, the founder of RD Genetics, has been collecting, growing, and preserving cannabis strains for decades. His passion for breeding marijuana has led to the creation of many famous cultivars.
RD Genetics initially built a following for its exceptional collection of Kush and Chem genetics. Their flagship strain, Rare Dankness #1, is a potent cross of classic cultivars, including Ghost OG, Triangle Kush, and Chem D.
Since its inception, this marijuana seed company has created a wide variety of well-known hybrids. Strains such as Scott’s OG and Rugburn OG are widely considered some of the best OG Kush varieties in seed form. RD’s Ghost Train Haze hybrids also earned much attention among Sativa fans.
Today, Scott and his team continue to breed high-quality cannabis seeds and are always expanding their collection of classic, clone-only strains. If you’re looking for some old-school funk, whether it be Indica or Sativa, Rare Dankness surely has a strain you’ll love.

Fire strain the Phenos that I grew, didn’t have a whole lot of lemon, but there was a killer cookie dough funk really gassy with a hint of lemon
Nothing not to like here. Indica-doms don't always sit well with me, but this OSG is relaxing without being debilitating. Excellent painkiller for my arthritis, smooth smoke, easy to grow with good yields. Nice fuely aroma, and resinous.
Third time growing this batch, just one plant this time. All seeds from pack germinated, no duds. DWC with 27-gallon reservoirs housing 2 plants each. Greenleaf Nutrients Mega Crop, kelp, Bud Explosion, and cal-mag, with poor measuring. Ph checked but I rarely adjust except for initial feeding of seedlings, generic lights based on Samung LM301 LEDs with Meanwell drivers. Tent with adequate ventilation.
Pretty easy grow, no hassles or surprises. This strain stretches quite a bit longer veg times are rewarded with beefy plants. May require external support. I'm not the most knowledgeable grower with the most dialed-in methods, but I have a clue. Pulled 6oz from this one plant. I did get some mold or whatever in the center of a big cola in the last grow, which is a first for me, but no problems this time. Wish I hadn't neglected and lost my clones from this grow, will grow again.
