Boogeyman
Half-Price Archive • October 2025 — Clearing space for new releases. Final run. Boogeyman lurks from the shadows with a cross of the elusive Chimera #3 and Greenpoint’s own Joker Juice. By blending Beleaf Cannabis’ Chimera #3 (White Truffle × The Creature)seedfinder.eu with the grape-fueled Joker Juice (Temptation × Jokerz Candy)greenpointseeds.com, Boogeyman emerges as a mythic feminized hybrid – a resin-drenched specter of Gorilla Glue potency and Jokerz Candy allure, destined to haunt seed collectors’ dreams.
Boogeyman is a strain born from the depths of the breeding underworld, combining two potent and peculiar bloodlines to create something both fearsome and fascinating. Its maternal figure, Chimera #3, is itself a product of mystery and power. Bred by Beleaf Cannabis, Chimera #3 draws its name from a creature of myth – fitting, given its lineage of White Truffle × The Creatureseedfinder.eu. White Truffle is a celebrated cut of Gorilla Butter (GG4 × Peanut Butter Breath) selected by Beleaf, known for its astonishing resin production and funky, savory aroma reminiscent of its namesake fungus. The White Truffle cut brought an overflow of Gorilla Glue #4’s potency (a Chemdog descendant famed for knockout strength) tempered with Peanut Butter Breath’s nutty, doughy undertones. The Creature, on the other hand, is an enigmatic sativa-leaning strain with scarce public info – a “monster” rumored to contribute extreme vigor and a wild, foxtailing flower structure. Together, they spawned Chimera #3, an indica-dominant hybrid that quickly became legendary for its chunky, frosted buds and complex terpene profile (hints of blueberry, musk, and diesel often reported)leafly.com. Think of Chimera #3 as a laboratory-born beast, stitching together threads of classic Gorilla Glue gas with exotic, fruity tones and pushing the envelope of what “frosty” means. It’s the kind of strain that rarely leaves the inner circles – a true under-the-radar gem featured in clone swaps and whispered about on forums.
Enter the paternal influence: Joker Juice, a strain that in contrast wears its flamboyance on its sleeve. Rambo’s Cousin concocted this hybrid from Temptation (Ice Cream Cake × Jealousy) and Jokerz Candy (Gummiez × Grape Gasoline)greenpointseeds.comgreenpointseeds.com, and its reputation has been anything but secret. Joker Juice is renowned for saturating buds in sticky trichomes and exuding an aroma of sweet grape candy and sharp petrol – a result of the Grape Gasoline injecting some Chem lineage bite into an otherwise dessert-heavy profile. Where Chimera #3 is dark and brooding, Joker Juice is vibrant and boisterous, yet both share a key trait: intense resin and a potency that can intimidate. Joker Juice carries forth the new-age Cali genetics; it’s like a jester with a deadly trick, mesmerizing your senses with candy and then walloping you with Chem-OG strength. The choice to unite these two was bold, essentially pairing a mythical beast with a playful yet dangerous spirit – a true Boogeyman was in the making.
In cultivation, Boogeyman exhibits a menacing vigor. These plants are typically medium-tall, thanks to The Creature and Joker’s sativa influences, but they fill out heavily like stout indicas due to White Truffle and Temptation’s impact. Expect thick, jagged leaves of a deep green, with some phenos showing purpling late in bloom. The colas form like gnarled clubs – sometimes foxtailed and wild (a nod to the Creature), other times more dense and bulbous (Gorilla Glue’s stamp). When you brush against a flowering Boogeyman, the aroma that clings to you is haunting: a heady blend of overripe grapes, fermented fruit, and raw solvent, underscored by an earthy funk that defies easy description. It’s as if a fruit stand and a diesel garage coexisted in a damp forest. That is the Boogeyman’s olfactory calling card, and it lingers. Trimming these buds is a hash-maker’s delight (or terror), as scissors gum up quickly with resins that encapsulate the best of both worlds.
For the collector, Boogeyman represents the kind of strain that rarely leaves the shadows. By including Chimera #3 in seed form, Greenpoint is effectively pulling a prized monster out of obscurity and giving it new life. This cross preserves the singular trait of monstrous resin production that White Truffle is famous for – an attribute at risk of being lost to clone-only circles – by locking it into a feminized seedline with Joker Juice’s stable influence. Moreover, Boogeyman is a testament to the philosophy that sometimes the most jaw-dropping results come from bridging vastly different worlds: here, the glue and gore of classic GG#4 descendants with the glitz and glamour of the contemporary candy strains. The result is a strain that doesn’t neatly fit into any box – much like the Boogeyman of lore, it’s part this, part that, and entirely unique.
Within the Opal Collection, Boogeyman is a showcase of the daring collaborations that define the series. It’s for the aficionado who isn’t afraid of the dark, genetically speaking – one who understands that within those shadowy, lesser-known strains like Chimera #3 lie untold treasures. Boogeyman invites you to step into a realm of mythic genetics: to tame a bit of the unknown, bottle it in a seed, and hold the power of both a monster and a jester in your collection. It’s the kind of strain that comes around seldom, whispered about by those who grew it – a true collectible that will have others asking in hushed excitement, “You have Boogeyman?”. And you’ll nod, knowing you’ve captured lightning in a bottle, or perhaps more fittingly, a monster in a seed.

Started several from seed, kept 2 as mothers. Will reduce to one once they have cured and I have sampled them both. Significant stretch over the first 20+ days. Lots of frost showing by start of third week.
