The Cross

There isn’t one. Trop Cherry #8 was reversed with STS and selfed, which produces seeds carrying only that plant. An S1 is the closest thing to a clone that comes in a packet.

The Parents

Tropicana Cookies is Harry Palms’ work at Oni Seed Co, Girl Scout Cookies crossed to Tangie, and it solved a problem most Cookies crosses could not: keeping GSC density while bringing in an old school Tangie. It throws color without needing a late flower cold shock.

Cherry Cookies F3 is what separates Relentless from a chuck shop. Most breeders work in F1 polyhybrids, quick crosses that produce flashy seeds and enormous variation. Relentless took their Cherry Cookies line, GSC crossed to a Fire OG backcross, through three filial generations before they would use it as a stud. That is unglamorous work and almost nobody does it.

The #8 selection out of that pairing took first place at the 2022 Michigan Cup.

What’s In The Pack

Six feminized photoperiod seeds, and this is not a beginner pack. Being straight about it: not every seed gives you the magazine cover. Color expression is variable even from a selfed line of the #8. The genetics are there but you have to hunt the true expressions, and the nose is more reserved than the lore suggests on some cuts.

What this plant absolutely delivers is one of the most visually staggering finished products in the catalog. Pop more than you think you need and cull without sentiment.

In The Garden

62-70 days, ideal window day 60 to 63. Advanced, and slow. Expect a longer veg than a typical Cookies hybrid and do not panic when she is lazy off the rip. Medium yield. Keep your hands off the nitrogen late and your eyes on the calyx fade.
