The Cross
Headband has never been a bag appeal plant. It comes out of an era before structure was the point. Dip N Stix is the opposite, bred and selected almost entirely on how it looks. Crossing them puts an old lineage on a plant that belongs on a current shelf.
The Parents
Headband was a regional codename rather than a single strain, an elite OG Kush cut that moved out of Southern California in the early 2000s and picked up the name from the growers who received it. Several regional Headbands descend from that umbrella.
Dip N Stix is Beleaf‘s selection out of In House Genetics‘ Sugarcane, which is Platinum crossed to Slurricane.
What’s In The Pack
Six feminized photoperiod seeds. The split runs between OG leaning plants and Dip N Stix leaning plants. The keeper carries both.
In The Garden
Photoperiod, feminized. OG lineage on one side and a stress sensitive modern line on the other means this cross rewards a stable room more than an aggressive feed schedule.
