Founded in 1994, Paradise Seeds is one of the oldest seed banks in the cannabis industry, with an impressive catalog of classic and new genetics. Hailing from Amsterdam, this highly experienced team of breeders is responsible for creating some of the most iconic strains in the world.

Luc Krol, the founder of Paradise Seeds, has been growing marijuana since the early 80s. From the start, he aimed to collect and breed only the most potent cultivars with the strongest terpene profiles.

Unsatisfied with many of the strains available in Europe at the time, Krol sourced some of the best genetics from the United States to begin breeding his own hybrids. Thanks to his drive for perfection, we now have legendary Dutch cultivars such as Acid, Delahaze, Nebula, and many others.

The notorious Sensi Star strain is one of Paradise Seeds’ most famous creations. This hybrid—said to be a cross of Afghan, Indian, and Skunk genetics—has been a staple among growers and breeders for decades. Thanks to its savory flavor and knock-out effects, the strain has won more than 15 Cannabis Cup awards.
