Outlaw Genetics is a cannabis seed breeder who is known for creating some of the most sought-after cultivars on the market. This seed company is no longer in operation; however, its strains continue to be cultivated by growers around the world.
During the early 2000s, Outlaw Genetics earned much attention with its line of Double Purple Doja hybrids. Strains such as Magic Merlin and East Coast Purple Diesel were some of the finest genetics available at the time.
Gorilla Grape—Outlaw’s most celebrated strain—is a scrumptious cross of Purple Urkle and Double Purple Doja F3. This strain is known for reliably producing dense, purple-colored buds that reek of fine wine. Its relaxing and numbing effects are perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Sadly, Outlaw Genetics was raided by police, and the operation was shut down in 2010. In the process, the breeder lost his entire genetic library, including his prized Double Purple Doja stud. Although Outlaw’s seed company has been out of business for more than a decade, growers continue to cultivate and breed his exceptional strains.
