Kero Pop: Gas With a Sweet Tooth

Kero Pop is Kerosene Chem × Joker Juice, a feminized Greenpoint cross built around a very specific contrast: the rough chemical side of our Kerosene line against Joker Juice’s sweet fruit and fuel.

The name gives you the brief. Kero for the fuel. Pop for the bright fruit on the other side. If your favorite jars have a little ugliness underneath the sweetness, this is the family tree to pay attention to.

The Kerosene Side

We made Kerosene Chem from Permanent Marker and Star Dawg. Permanent Marker comes from Seed Junky Genetics, with Doja Pak helping introduce the cut to the wider market. Its appeal lives in that sweet, sharp, marker-ink territory.

Star Dawg takes the story back to JJ NYC and Top Dawg Seeds: Chem 4 × Tres Dawg. That is the deeper Chem connection in Kero Pop. A Kerosene Chem female supplies this side of the cross; reversed Joker Juice supplies the pollen.

The Joker Juice Side

Joker Juice is Rambo’s Cousin‘s Temptation × Jokerz Candy. Temptation brings Ice Cream Cake and Jealousy; Jokerz Candy brings Gummiez and Grape Gasoline. That is where the grape, berry-pastry and fuel direction comes from. Lit Farms and Compound Genetics sit behind those two parent lines.

What We Are Looking For

Sharp fuel and rubbery Chem with grape and darker fruit running through it. The interesting plants will be the ones that keep those edges distinct. Some can favor the Kerosene side; others can lean sweeter and closer to Joker Juice. Those are selection targets based on the parents, and each seed gets its own vote.

What’s in the Pack

Six feminized photoperiod seeds. Kero Pop is the full product release of the cross previously offered as Kerosene Chem × Joker Juice in our Joker Juice tester series.

Flowering time, yield and finished-flower test results for this release are still being documented. Parent descriptions explain the breeding direction; individual plants will vary.
