Amnesia Haze came up through the Dutch coffeeshop era and never needed a rebrand, which is rare for anything from that period. Greenpoint acquired a European breeder’s version and inbred it against a Short Stuff #1 auto donor across multiple generations. The one thing worth chasing here is the champagne and orange juice note that sits over the haze, because that is the first thing every other breeder loses on the way to an auto.

The Cross
The haze complex is the oldest working money in cannabis. It fed the Dutch scene through the eighties and nineties, it fed the American import market before that, and it is still underneath most of what people call sativa today. It also takes forever and grows like a hedge, which is why almost nobody runs it now.
Greenpoint took a European breeder’s Amnesia Haze and put it against a select Short Stuff #1, then inbred the line over several generations. The selection weight went on aroma, not on finish time. Anyone can make a fast plant.
The Parents
Amnesia Haze earned its name in Amsterdam and stayed in circulation on nothing but reputation, which is a harder thing to do than winning a cup. Its ancestry runs back through the classic haze lines into landrace sativa stock, the same well that produced most of the citrus and spice profiles the modern market still chases without knowing where it got them.
Short Stuff #1 is the ruderalis carrying donor used across the Greenpoint auto line. It brings the day neutral trigger and a short frame and stays out of the way, which is the entire job.

Over 10 yrs. growing in a 4×4 recently switched to led HLG blackbird with uv supplement. This is first time running autos. Got 7 healthy looking seeds germinated 6 for 6 will grow out 4 healthiest seedlings…update when I get into veg. So far so good
