i had this awesome introduction written and my computer died. uggh well nice to meet everyone. My name is briar and im looking forward to chatting with yall. My question to start off with is ppm. is it before you put the nutes in? or is after you have combined everything and you make that number say in veg mode. sorry i couldn't write a better introduction. im really happy to meet the family and Gu's strains look amazing. i have one more question why on the new seeds is there a male and female sign? is that because the new seeds that you get when you buy you wont know what they are till purchased? i know im a begineer and don't know anything haven't even done my first grow. But i am planning to in the near future. i just don't want to buy awesome seeds and screw them up. Thanks for answering family. Briar

I grow in coco and I don’t check the ppm, so I apologize if my reply isn’t helpful. I have checked the ppm for the spring water that I use and it is low, not zero though. When I make my nutrient solution (that I use every watering), I always use only around 2/3’s or 1/2 strength of the label’s instructions. I also use beneficial microbe products, so I can use less nutrients. Like I said, I don’t check ppm, but I do check ph every time. I have the little cheapy bottle and vile that changes the color of the water to check ph. I always ph my nutrient solution to 6 or light yellow.

You can’t look at seeds and determine their sex. They have to start flowering, then you can see if they have female hairs or male pollen balls.

I hope you have some fun times and awesome harvests! 🙏
