I love rapid rooters.

They can get expensive though.

I second rapid rooters. Rockwool works great as well. I've heard great success stories with almost every medium... it just comes down to preference.

Rapid rooters that have been soaked and squeezed out Clonex solution. Or take same Clonex solution, prep cup with but half of cup onto 3/4 cup Black Gold Seedling Mix. Current pack of Nightrider that I got 9 for 9 up and going, 5 was riot rooters, 4 was hole in the cup of medium. Was testing both ways. I do cut the bottom off the rooters, Ive had the tap root bind up in em before, I trim the bottom and make sure the hole goes thru, albeit not wallered out.

i also love rapid rooters but almost never use them. i always have tons of coco on hand so almost always just end up directly in coco in small pot.

Love rapid rooter style especially for cloning, during to 70s & 80s jiffy pellets were the only option in my world work just fine especially the new larger pellets, can be a touch acidic so be aware, when using them to clone I would put them in a solo cup half full of perlite gave the roots leg room, normally I just buy a starter mid and add some worm castings then I am never tempted to add any thing besides water....

I'm still rocking the rockwool.  I feel like I am using old tech. 🙃

I blame you for this.

I use rapid rooter too, but have been having trouble getting my agathlan to sprout, so I'll be taking some to a friend to try out in his easy cloner.

Rapid rooter then into rockwool or peatmoss based seed starter and coco depending on if it's an auto or photo.

I think youre absolutely right on the rapid rooters.  I always get 100% using healthy beans.  All i do is ph some tap that has some Cal?mag in it. Cant beat them.
